About Me

In full, I am named Brodie James Knight.

I have been practicing digital illustration for over a decade, and I am happy to be bringing my services to you. I have recently upgraded my drawing program from the one in which I created all the art you see on this website, so now - for your purposes - I am able to create traditional oil-paint-on-canvas looking artworks, which I find very exciting. I do have a distictive style of my own which you can see exhibited here, though I will tell you that none of these artworks represent my full capacity - at this point I made them all just for fun over the years. Also, I am defeintely capable of deviating from my style if that is what you need.

That said, I myself am a big fan of heavy metal music and fantasy novels, so naturally my favourite peices to create immersed in that vibe. Lord of The Rings is a huge inspiration for me, as well as the Conan novels and the Malazan: Book of The Fallen series. Artistically, the art of post-war Polish painter Zdzisław Beksiński inspires me more than any other (one of his works displayed to the right), and I am excited to use my new brushes to emulate his style.

On the subject of heavy metal - I have a band!

Dunharrow is the name of my extreme metal band, for which I write and compose the music, play all instruments, and perform vocals.

Thank you.
